In accepting the cheque Alek thanked the Rotarians for their efforts and said that all monies received are put to good use for the Legions work. Alongside Stewart Dailly and Alek Sagar, representing Rotary were Gerry Hooper (a past Rotary president), Peter Mansfield (a past Rotary president), Martin Luxford (a past Rotary president and also current president elect), Edward Ferguson, and for British Legion Marian Hannaford Dobson (BL Branch Treasurer) and Stewart Dobson (BL Branch Secretary).
